If you send us a tender package, this is what happens to it.
- We keep your package and the brief while we produce the brief and for 30 days after we deliver it, so we can answer questions about it. Then it is deleted.
- It is never shared with anyone else, and it is never used to train anything.
- Ask us to delete it sooner and we delete it and write back to confirm. One email to info@tenderproof.ca does it.
- Where it is stored, who can see it and what you are agreeing to are set out in plain words on the Terms page.

- The short answer. Can you bid, by when, and the one thing to watch, each with its page.
- What you have to hand in. Bid security, bonds, insurance, references, licences and clearances, each with the page that says so, and a plain note where the tender names a requirement without printing the number you need.
- What this tender will cost you to comply. Screening, occupied sites, phasing, access and the other clauses that move your number before you have priced a stick.
- Bonds, insurance and paperwork. The same list again in full sentences, with the wording behind each one.
- What the tender says the work is. The scope as written, quoted, with its page.
- What you have to measure yourself. The quantities the document does not give you, named plainly instead of guessed at.

Every fact we take from your document carries the page it came from. Anything we computed or could not find is labelled as such. Confirm it yourself before you rely on it.
Refuses to guess
Anything unread, unclear or unconfirmed is named on its own page at the back, item by item. Nothing is quietly turned into a confident-sounding sentence. If the brief says a requirement was not found, that means we could not confirm it, not that it does not exist.
No model writes it
No language model reads your tender or writes your brief. The reader is a program that finds the wording in your document and quotes it back with the page it sits on. The sentences around those quotes are written in advance and do not change from job to job.
Every brief also says how much of your package we read, and names the pages and the files we could not.

Limits
What it does NOT do
- Does not price the job or recommend a bid amount. No priced estimate, no margin advice.
- Does not bid for you or submit anything on your behalf.
- Is not a substitute for reading your tender. It is a map to the parts that matter.
- Does not measure drawings. If quantities live in a drawing set, the brief flags that a takeoff is needed there.
- Does not pull in addenda or companion files you did not send.
- Does not guarantee it caught everything. What it is not sure about, it tells you, in writing, every time.
Who we are
Who you are dealing with
TenderProof is an independent business, run from Nova Scotia on Atlantic time. It is not part of any buyer, any procurement portal or any bid-matching service. Who operates it is named in full on the Terms page, along with where your document is stored and how long we keep it.

Do you keep my document?
For a short window, then it goes. We keep your package and the brief in our own storage while we produce the brief and for 30 days after delivery, so we can answer questions about it. After that it is deleted. Email info@tenderproof.ca to have it deleted sooner and we delete it and write back to confirm. We never share it with anyone else, and we never use it to train anything. Where that storage is and who can see it is set out on the Terms page.
Will you see my prices?
We only need the buyer's document, and there are no prices of yours in it. Do not send your own worksheets, quotes or subcontractor numbers: we do not need them and we would rather not hold them. If something like that comes along by accident it is covered by the same rules as everything else, not shared, not used to train anything, and deleted with the rest.
Is the first brief really free?
Yes. One free brief per company, on a real tender you are actually bidding. No account, no card, nothing to cancel. The next one is $149.
How do I pay, and is there tax on it?
Interac e-transfer to info@tenderproof.ca, after the brief is delivered, not before. Prices are in Canadian dollars. HST is added only where we are required to collect it, and the payment request you get shows the exact amount. There is no card on file and nothing renews.
What if I do not want a second one?
Nothing happens. There is no account, no card and no subscription, so there is nothing to cancel and nothing owing.
How long does it take?
The reader itself runs in minutes. Every brief is checked by a person before it goes out, so plan on same business day if it arrives before 2 PM Atlantic, otherwise the next business day.
Which tenders can you read?
Any package you can send as a PDF: federal, provincial, municipal, utility, or a private invitation, including portal-gated documents you had to log in to download. Text-based or scanned. Scanned pages are read where we can; where we cannot, the brief names the exact pages, in writing. No cloud service, no login required from you.
Do you read drawings?
We read the text on them. We do not measure them. If the quantities live in a drawing set, the brief names the file and puts it under "What you have to measure yourself", and the measuring is still yours to do.
Can I send an addendum after the brief?
Yes. Reply to the brief with the addendum attached and we read it against the same tender and tell you what changed. Anything you did not send us is not in the brief: we cannot pull files from a portal on your behalf. If it lands after your brief has gone out, say so in the reply and we will tell you what it costs before we do anything.
What if the brief misses something or gets something wrong?
If we send the wrong document's brief, a blank result, or something clearly broken on our end, you get a full refund, no argument. An item landing on the list of what the brief cannot tell you, instead of being answered outright, is the product working as intended, not a refund trigger. On a free brief there is nothing to refund, so if the free one comes back broken we run it again on the same tender. See the Terms and Disclaimer.

No. It is an extraction aid. You are always responsible for verifying the cited pages and the closing date against your own copy of the tender.
